From undergraduate to graduate students and credential candidates, the Cal Poly Pomona population reflects the rich diversity of our state and nation. If you are ready to work, participate and enjoy new experiences, Cal Poly Pomona is ready for you.

Freshmen
Cal Poly Pomona annually enrolls an average freshmen class of about 2,500. Over 15% of our students come from multiple states and countries throughout the world. You're considered a freshman applicant if you have or are completing a high school diploma and have not attended a college or university other than during your high school years or the summer immediately following your high school graduation. Undergraduate Transfer
Upper division transfers with a track record of success are given high priority for admission. Applicants must have completed 60 semester or 90 quarter units with grades of C or better, including courses to meet the four English and Math General Education requirements. Read more.

Credential
Cal Poly Pomona's teaching credential programs are available to qualified candidates who wish to obtain a California K-12 teaching credential and understand contemporary education. The specialist credentials and certificates expand these concepts to enable credential candidates to function as experts in schools and other educational settings. Read more.

Graduate
You're considered a graduate applicant if you hold a baccaluareate degree from an accredited institution and are applying for a master's degree in one of our postbaccalaureate academic programs for professional or personal growth. Read more.

International
You're considered an international applicant if you hold or will be holding a U.S. visa as a student, exchange visitor, or another nonimmigrant classification. The California State University (CSU) system has supplemental requirements for the admission of international applicants. Read more.
